About Me
I tune into people and paint their essence.
I was born near the warm, sunny California beaches in the 1960’s. My childhood was filled with sweet and simple moments, and my art reflects that laid back vibe. The themes I paint are of the warm-hearted people, places and events that colored my world.

An excerpt –
How we, as judges, decide on “best in show,” is when we agree on the works of art that keep catching our attention throughout the tent. “Oh, look at this fun little painting of the sink! That’s really well done,” and “Hey, have you guys seen the painting with the disheveled room and the couple in the bed?” It’s really quirky and excellent in detail,” and “Seriously, I think I found an image of my aunt from Kansas and her dog in one of these paintings!” Not knowing the names of the artists, but simply looking at the work, we found all of us had selected this artist for a possible prize three times. And so, it was with clarity we ended up selecting Cindy Sullivan’s ‘Best in Show’ for best in show. Not only is there a clear delight in the human spirit in her work, but her stylistic approach, use of pattern and flattening of areas while keeping others dimensional, displayed to us a mature original artistic voice.
